Raise Your Voice
Raise Your Voice is a widget to shorten the time and effort it takes to contact your government representatives; thereby connecting citizens, politicians, and interest groups to further political activism and the democratic process.
The first step we took on this project was to refactor the old code and get everything up to date using Rails, JavaScript, and jQuery. We made sure the entire app is scalable, so that it will be able to grow and flourish as Raise Your Voice begins to get traction.
